Second week, Seconds peak

Hey guys! Welcome back to my blogging website. I’m glad you’re still tuning in to my weekly blogs, I really appreciate it 😊. So to start off, last weeks highlight was all about our swimming event in school, so what am I going to highlight in this week’s blog? 🤔. Just read along to find out!

Not much happened for this week, the only thing that I’ll consider as a major event was the examination. Sure it was hard but with a little bit of stock knowledge and remembering what you’ve learned from the lecture, you can surely answer the test! Which brings me to this topic; How to get ready for a test. (I don’t have anything else to talk about so maybe I might just share a few tips and tricks.)

Firstly. Getting ready for a test or exam doesn’t start on the day of the exam or the day before the exam, it starts the moment the teacher gives out the lesson. What I’m trying to say is, the moment a lecture is on going, that is the time you should be ready! Listen attentively, focus and digest what the teacher is teaching. Trust me, it’ll make the next steps easier.

Take down notes. Taking down notes doesn’t necessarily mean to write everything and every word a teacher says, but to write down important words and definitions that you’re sure will come out of the examination or a quiz later on. Also, to make it easier for you to take notes, don’t mind about neatness or cleanliness, just make sure your notes are organized in a way that it’s easy to locate information. But you can always be creative and maybe even beautify your notes to make it more inspiring for you to read them later. Speaking of notes, next step is to:

Study your notes. What’s the purpose of your notes if you’ll just lay ’em on your table or keep it inside your bag? Well, to be really ready, take time to scan your notes maybe once you go home or when you’re taking a bath (just kidding.) Just a quick glance or skimming and scanning through your notes will really help. You don’t wanna be really thinking hard about that word that’s stuck on the tip of your tongue once your taking the exam, you feel me? So read your notes and you won’t have a hard time remembering terms and definitions! And lastly;

Pray. All the steps above sounds pretty cliché, and we’ve all heard of it or been instructed with it by our parents or friends. If all doesn’t go well, just pray. If you have not the time to study, read your notes, or you’ve been feeling really out of it during class –resulting to you not listening well and not getting the lecture, then pray. Ask for guidance from above 😇.

That’s all I can share with you guys, and I’ve decided to make my blog like this since it’s relevant to what I experienced this week. Thank you so much for reading! I had a very good time this week just like last week and I’m hoping for more better and happier experiences for the weeks ahead. Cheers!

Next week highlights might include retreat day and immersion day, so stay tuned! God bless!

P.S. No pictures for this week’s blog. Can’t download pics due slow internet connection. So, sorry if it looks too bland for y’all’s taste. Cheers guy! See you next week!
