“Initium Sapientiae Timor Domini”
Sounds familiar? Well it’s our RVM School Motto. We’ve all heard of it or rather read it in the school’s seal or logo, but do we know what it means? Well, I just recently knew the meaning of it and it’s amazing because it’s really relevant to what happened in my week. The motto translates to “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”, it’s very relevant because I just had my retreat last Monday and Tuesday. Talk about coincidence!
Retreat
I was very excited to start this week for I will be having my retreat, finally! Being the last batch though makes the wait worth it after hearing stories from my friends about how cool and amazing the place is and how much they’ve learned there. Personally it was an amazing experience for me, having my first time to have a retreat. It was a blast! The facilitator was amazing, I love the way he speaks and deliver his message. Overall everything was amazing and I thank God for that opportunity.
Not all were ups though when I was there. I had a little bit of a crappy experience, if you know what I mean. I had the urge to go to the comfort room every once in a while because my stomach wasn’t feeling well. But thankfully I recovered. So much of that.
After the two days and one night experience, my life shifted a bit. I started to realize and reflect about the world. Nothing matters. Just kidding. It’s very personal.
This week was packed, and when I mean packed, I mean Monday to Tuesday was the retreat, on Wednesday we had our immersion and on Thursday and Friday I had my private walk 😉. It was packed with schedules making this whole week the highlight for this week’s blog!
Immersion
The immersion was only for one day, but it was fun. We learned a lot and also were able to know more about the secret company (not a secret). It was fun getting immersed in that environment and knowing how the stuffs worked and how they do their work because looking from afar the company and it’s industry is big and when I was young I never knew what was happening in there. So I’m grateful again for that opportunity.
So much for this week guys. I’m not feeling well. And by the way, January was a hell of a month, a lot has happened and it’s like all hell broke loose all of a sudden. But fret not, we have God that will protect us all. Stay safe everyone! Thanks for tuning in again in my blog. See you next week!
PS. Still no pictures for now, slow internet.
