End of an Era.

If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected .

Sun Tzu, Art of War

Sun Tzu’s Art of War teaches us a lot of things, not only in the aspect of war but also life. Each day we face different battles, different enemies, different challenges and different wars. Each battle has there own uniqueness, and each you must conquer uniquely.

Welcome to the End of an Era.

Previously, we’ve talked about how we prepared to face the final boss of our high school life. It was thrilling and exciting as we all get ready and prepare ourselves for the upcoming battle. Thankfully all of us survived and fought with all our might. It was nerve wracking as we enter the lair of the beast and fight it head on. But we never fretted, as we know we have prepared ourselves for this final moment.

It was a great experience, a great adventure.

As I promised, I will now share to you tips on how to prepare for the battle. But first you must open your mind and be ready for the information that I am about to deliver.

Preparation.

I have only one. One tip. And that is to know. Know everything. The battle does not start at the boss’s lair, it starts at the entrance. It starts at the moment you pick up your sword and shield, the moment you prepare your gears for the adventure. The battle starts at the beginning of everything. So you must know, you must have knowledge of everything. Yourself, your enemy, your paper. Preparation starts there, at the beginning of everything.

This is it guys. This is the end. I will now bid farewell as I will continue on a new path in life, a new adventure. Who knows? Maybe I’ll keep updating all of you, but that’s a mystery. It’s been fun sharing my adventure with you guys and I’m very thankful you are here to listen and witness my life. Thank you.

“It is always about the journey, not the destination.”
